Media influences what we eat and drink

Nowadays, we are constantly addressed by media titles 5 magical ingredients which will reduce your weight, Reduction diet which will help you to loose 10 kilograms per month and many others. Newspapers, magazines, radio, television and mainly, the Internet; those media are full of advices what we should do to become healthier and more attractive human beings and we are just blindly buying and following this advices with a vision of better appearance. However, the majority of people do not realize that media follows and influence every single step we take and thus, that not every advice or suggestion in media have to be necessarily true; that it could be marketing driven intention.

Food companies and especially, fast food restaurants spend huge amount of effort and money on their advertisements, to make their products the most attractive by using various methods and tricks to influence clients’ decision-making. Above that, the major part of the population thinks, that media does not influence their decision-making and that they can easily recognize, whether the information is true or not. And this is the point, where we should start think critically and be open-minded, to not become just another sheep following the herd. This blog’s intention is not to claim that all media lies about everything, but to persuade people to not underestimate the media’s influence.
